Institute for the Application of Geospatial Technology
Housed at the Auburn campus of Cayuga Community College, the NASA-sponsored Institute for the Application of Geospatial Technology gathers and analyzes data coordinated with the global positioning system (GPS) to provide planning assistance for economic development and resource management.
United Way of Cayuga County
Cayuga Community College enables employees to support vital human service in our area through convenient automatic payroll contributions to the United Way of Cayuga County. These voluntary contributions are allocated by the United Way to enable carefully selected, locally managed agencies to offer dozens of sponsored human services programs. The College is also a participant in the United Way's free annual tax-preparation program for low-income area residents. Cayuga's accounting faculty and students are trained to provide this service, and the College makes the training and client space available at no charge for a period of several months.
Cayuga Community College is a participant in Creative Core, a collaboration highlighting the features and benefits of doing business in the 12-county Central Upstate Regional Alliance. This economic development cooperative includes the New York State counties of Cayuga, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, Seneca, St. Lawrence, and Tompkins.
