9 SUNY Colleges to Offer Mini-Fairs at Area High Schools

DATE: 03-07-2006

An admissions team representing nine SUNY colleges will visit high schools in Cayuga and Oswego Counties during the week of March 13. At each school, the team will conduct a presentation and mini-fair on SUNY community colleges, technical colleges, university centers, and university colleges, comparing the features, costs, and admission requirements for each. Students can meet individually with the college representatives. Participating colleges are Cayuga Community College, SUNY Cortland, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, SUNY Institute of Technology, SUNY Morrisville, Onondaga Community College, SUNY Oswego, Tompkins Cortland Community College, and Upstate Medical University. Scheduled visits are:

Monday, March 13, 9:30?11:00 a.m. at Paul V. Moore High School with Altmar-Parish-Williamstown students as guests Monday, March 13, 12:45?2:00 p.m. at Mexico High School with Sandy Creek and Pulaski High School students as guests

Tuesday, March 14, 8:30?10:00 a.m. at G. Ray Bodley High School with Phoenix High School students as guests

Wednesday, March 15, 9:00-10:30 a.m. at Union Springs High School with Southern Cayuga and Moravia High School students as guests

Wednesday, March 15, 1:30?3:00 p.m. at Skaneateles High School

Thursday, March 16, 8:30?10:00 a.m. at Port Byron High School with Weedsport and Cato-Meridian High School students as guests
