Cayuga CC Student Wins Top Award for Transfer Student

Kristen Paczkowski, who delivered the commencement address during her graduation on Sunday from Cayuga Community College, is the sole winner, from nominees representing all two-year colleges statewide, of the 2006 New York State Transfer and Articulation Association Scholarship, given to a student who will transfer to a four-year institution in New York State. Paczkowski was this year's president of the college's Student Government Organization and one of three Cayuga recipients of the 2006 SUNY Chancellor's Award for Student Excellence. She will enter SUNY College at Geneseo this fall to pursue a bachelor's degree in psychology.
