Cayuga CC and SUNY Oswego Offer Four-Part Series in Geriatric Care

“Achieving Quality in Patient-Centered Geriatric Care,” a series of four seminars for health-care staff who work with seniors, will be sponsored in April and May by Cayuga Community College and the SUNY Oswego Institute for Professional and Organizational Development. Discounted tuition is available for those who register for the full series early.

Each Wednesday evening session will meet simultaneously in interactive classrooms at Cayuga's Auburn and Fulton campuses from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Topics include “Contemporary Trends and Issues on Aging” with Dr. Paul Roodin of SUNY Oswego on April 18; “Strategies for Effective Communication and Conflict Resolution” with Dr. Jody Fiorini of SUNY Oswego on April 25; “A Coordinated Approach in a Patient-Centered Environment” with Carmen Munson, M.S.W. on May 2; and “Maximizing Patient-Centered Services through Strengthened Community Collaborations” with Deborah Bobbett, B.S. on May 9.
