College's Annual Family Fun Day to Feature Football Theme

DATE: 01-17-2008

The eighth annual February Family Fun Day at Cayuga Community College on Sunday, February 3, will offer children's activities with a football theme. The free public event, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the Spartan Hall gym, will feature guest appearances by the Auburn High School Maroons football team and several cheerleading squads, along with perennial favorites including 'Clifford the Big Red Dog' of PBS fame, a moonwalk, obstacle course, arts, crafts and games. The event will also serve as the official kick-off of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library in Cayuga County, a program offering free books for children age five and under. The family-friendly afternoon is sponsored by Cayuga Community College, the ACC/CCC Alumni Association, the College's Student Activities Board and Early Childhood Club, Success by 6, Eat Well Play Hard, the Cayuga County Health Department, and the Seanna M. Donley Memorial Fund. Details are available from Nancy Ranieri, director of alumni affairs, at 315-255-1743, extension 2224.
