Attorney and professional engineer Denis Sullivan will give a talk on "Intellectual Property - Patents and Trademarks" on Thursday afternoon, March 19, at the Auburn campus of Cayuga Community College. Sullivan, a partner and patent attorney with the Syracuse law firm of Marjama, Muldoon, Blasiak and Sullivan LLP, will discuss the basics of patents and trademarks, including how they are used to protect intellectual property rights. The program, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. in room T229 in the Tech Building, is free and open to the public. It is presented by Professor Mike Pacelli, Ph.D., and sponsored by the Cayuga Community College Science Division.
