With packed classrooms and enrollment up 25 percent over last year, Cayuga Community College is looking at a continued upward trend in student numbers. An influx of additional students in the spring and summer sessions is expected to push this year's enrollment to a record high. Interest in the fall 2010 semester has already started, with approximately 100 prospective students attending Cayuga's Open Houses in November. At events held at the Auburn and Fulton campuses, students talked with admissions counselors about degree programs, career and transfer pathways, financial aid, athletics and campus life. To help equip two lucky students with WiFi-ready technology, each campus event held a drawing for an HP Mini Netbook computer. Winners were Michael Westmiller of Auburn High School and Kirstie Potter of G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton.
