SSO Brass Quintet to perform free concert March 7 at Cayuga Community College in Auburn

The sounds of the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra Brass Quintet will fill Cayuga Community College’s Bisgrove Theater in Auburn at 11 a.m. Monday, March 7.

From big band tunes to Sousa marches to Renaissance madrigals, audience members will experience the vibrancy and rich tones of the quintet’s two trumpets, horn, trombone, and bass trombone.

The concert is part of Cayuga’s Musical Exploration Series, which seeks to expose the campus and surrounding communities to a range of musical performances, lectures, demonstrations, and master classes.

  • Samba Laranja, Samba Music Performance and Demonstration, M157 Auburn Campus, 11 a.m. Monday, March 21

    All of the events are free and open to the public.
