The Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Association is booking seats for a motor coach trip to Gettysburg, Pa., departing Friday, September 23, and returning Sunday, September 25.
The group will be escorted by Civil War buff and Cayuga criminal justice/American history professor John Lamphere. A personally guided tour of the battlefield will include historic sites throughout the National Military Park as well as the National Museum and an evening sunset photo opportunity at Little Round Top.
This trip is open to the public and sells out quickly. Cost per person, based on two people sharing a room, is $250. The price includes round-trip transportation originating at CCC’s Fulton and Auburn Campuses, two nights hotel stay with continental breakfast, battlefield tours, and dinner at the historic Farnsworth House. Admission to Gettysburg Museum and Cyclorama as well as the Artillery Ridge Diorama are also included.
