This fall, the Cayuga Community College Fulton Campus welcomed Christopher G. D'Arcy of Phoenix, N.Y., to the faculty of the biology department.
D'Arcy joined the faculty as a full-time instructor, and is teaching BIOL 103 Biological Principles I, BIOL 203 Anatomy and Physiology I, and BIOL 209 Basic Nutrition.
He previously worked as an adjunct instructor at Cayuga CC in Auburn and Fulton, and at LeMoyne College, Onondaga Community College, and Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in Syracuse. He also worked as a medical provider from 2002 to 2006 at Northern Onondaga Chiropractic in Baldwinsville and from 2006 to 2010 at Meridian Chiropractic & Wellness in Liverpool.
He earned a bachelor's in biology from SUNY Oswego and a Doctor of Chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in Seneca Falls. He is pursuing a master's in education with a concentration in biology and chemistry at LeMoyne College. He holds a Chiropractic License in the State of New York and has completed initial certification requirements in biology and general science in New York State.
D'Arcy serves as a co-advisor to Cayuga students in the Green Team Club and in the Criminal Justice Club at the Fulton Campus.
