Dr. Philip E. Gover has accepted a position as the College's new Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs and Dean of the Faculty. Dr. Gover's appointment was approved by the College's Board of Trustees during its June 19 meeting.
Dr. Gover comes to the College from Morton College in Cicero, Illinois, where he served as Executive Vice President. He will assume his duties at the College beginning on August 15.
Dr. Gover succeeds Dr. Alfred V. Hanley, whose resignation from the College becomes effective July 1. Dr. Hanley will join the faculty of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as Professor of English and Department Chair.
