Cayuga CC alumni booking public trip to Washington D.C.

The Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Association is offering a three-day, two-night bus excursion to Washington, D.C., from Friday, April 19, to Sunday, April 21.

Travelers will tour the National Air Space Museum Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center on route to the Crystal City Marriott. The newly renovated hotel is located above a Metro stop for convenient subway access.  Participants can create their own sightseeing experience in and around the Capital. Highlights include the White House, Capitol Hill, National Mall, Smithsonian Museums, Arlington National Cemetery, World War II, Korean and Vietnam War Memorials, the National Gallery of Art and Washington National Cathedral. Most attractions are free of charge and within easy walking distance of one another.  

The trip will depart from the Auburn Campus at 6 a.m. and the return trip will leave mid-afternoon on Sunday and arrive in Auburn approximately 11 p.m.             

The cost of $299 per person includes the two-night hotel stay (based on double occupancy), round-trip motor coach, and the Air Space Museum tour.

This trip, offered by the Alumni Association, is open to the public; age restrictions may apply. Seating is limited and reservations must be paid in full through the College’s Alumni Office at or 315-255-1743, extension 2224 or 2454.
