Transcripts

An official transcript has the College seal affixed. Upon your written request, the registrar's office will issue an official transcript and:

  • mail it to the recipient you designate, or
  • hold it for you (or the person you designate in writing) to pick up. In this case, the College seal is affixed with “official transcript issued to student” stamped on the transcript. The transcript is sealed in an envelope. The seal should not be broken or the transcript is considered void. Transcripts may be picked up during business hours at the registrar's office in Auburn, or at the main desk in Fulton (see Jo Ann Harris).

The College does not charge for transcript requests.

Note: No transcript will be released if you have any outstanding financial obligations to the College or if any restrictive holds have been placed on your student records.

 

How to Request Your Transcript

Official transcripts may be requested through your myCayuga account. The transcript request form is found on the Student Records menu.

A Transcript Request Form is also available online or in the Registrar’s Office. Complete the form, including your name, Social Security number, date of birth, former name, current home address and the complete address to which the transcript is to be sent. Mail, fax, or bring the form to:

No fee is charged. Please allow 1-3 days for processing after the Registrar’s Office receives your request.

 

Request a Transcript using MyCayuga

1. Login to myCayuga at: https://my.cayuga-cc.edu
2. At the Log In screen enter your Cayuga Username (example: jsmith14). You can also use your C-Number (example: C00012345), or your Social Security Number (no dashes). Then enter your Password. If you forgot your password click I Forgot My Password and follow the prompts.
3. Once logged in, click the Student tab (if it is not already selected).
4. Click on My Student Information in the My Student Tools channel.
5. Click Request a Printed Transcript.

Choose one of the following:

  • External College Code
  • One of Your Addresses – be sure to choose Physical Residence from the drop-down box
  • Internal College – Do not Use
  • Issue to – Fill in a person's Name
 

IF YOU CHOOSE EXTERNAL COLLEGE CODE:
 
 
  • Click on Look Up College Code.
 
  • Choose your state from the Select a State or Province drop-down box.
 
  • Click List Cities in Selected State, Province or Country.
 
  • Choose your college from the Select College City drop-down box.
 
  • Click List Colleges in Selected City.
 
  • Select College Name from the drop-down box.
 
  • Click Copy selected College information to Data Entry form.
  • Continue to Step 7.
     
7. You will see the Select Transcript Type page with your college information autofilled in.


8. At Transcript Type, from the drop-down box, select Web Request.
9. Nation – leave blank, set to None.
10. Area Code & Phone Number – enter for Fax Request.
11. Click Continue.
12. Number of Copies (Up to 4) – enter how many you want.
13. Print Transcript – From the drop-down box, Select As Soon As Possible; Hold for Grades; or Hold for Degree.
14. Change the Delivery Method to Standard Mailing from the drop-down box.
15. Click Continue.
16. Review your request and click Submit Request.
