The global and local significance of the issues will be addressed by examining practices in Maharashtra Province, India, London, England, and the Finger Lakes region of Central New York. The symposium will highlight the Lab to Land to Table implementation of sustainable agriculture research, and the importance of education and outreach in developing a wider understanding of the issues we face. The symposium will provide a forum for scientists, educators, farmers, food providers, and all interested parties to share and learn about innovative research and practices in sustainable agriculture.
