Building Maintenance Helper (Part-Time, Fulton)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Building Maintenance Helper – Fulton Campus – Part-Time- 20 Hours Per Week

Assists in a variety of tasks in connection with the maintenance, repair, and cleaning of buildings and equipment.  Takes part in painting of rooms and hallways.  Performs minor carpentry work.  Assists in the upkeep of grounds by mowing lawns and trimming shrubbery.  Helps remove snow and ice from walkways.  May operate light trucks and other motorized equipment.  Full job specifications can be viewed at https://www.cayugacounty.us/DocumentCenter/View/8033/Building-Maintenance-Helper 

REQUIREMENTS:

Working knowledge of practices, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment.

One (1) year of experience in ordinary manual labor.

Good physical condition with ability to bend, stoop, climb ladders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

DATE TO BE FILLED:

Position will be staffed as soon as a qualified finalist candidate is identified. 

COMPENSATION:

Annualized Salary is $21,619
