Six scholarships and two commencement awards have been granted by the Auburn/Cayuga Community College Alumni Association to the college's entering, returning, and transferring students.

Two scholarships earmarked for children or grandchildren of Cayuga alumni who will finish high school this year and enter Cayuga in the fall went to Jill R. Carr and Kathleen E. Brown, both of Auburn.

Three scholarships for students who will return to Cayuga as full-time sophomores in the fall went to Joseph M. Dmytrenko of Union Springs, Stacy L. Dugan of Auburn, and Shawn R. Gray of Cato.

A nontraditional student scholarship was awarded to Enrique Nila of Auburn.

Commencement awards for graduating students accepted for transfer to four-year colleges went to Kristen M. Paczkowski and Torey L. Watson, both of Auburn.

The scholarships and commencement awards are administered by the Cayuga County Community College Foundation. Private donations to the Foundation have funded over 360 scholarships and graduation awards to Cayuga students during the past year.
