MATH STATISTICS: Fall 2016 to Spring 2020 – Cohort of New, First-Time, Degree-Seeking Students

This project contains statistics for students who were new, first time, degree-seeking students in one of the semesters beginning Fall 2016 through Spring 2020. The total number of students in the cohort is 1,887.

The purpose of this project is to look for trends that may assist with math placement and other decision-making.

The data will show success rates of students who completed developmental math courses (MATH070 and MATH099) and college-level math courses (MATH102, MATH104, MATH106, and MATH108).

DASHBOARDS:

1. DEMOGRAPHICS : Percentages and Counts by race, age, and gender. Filterable by Academic year, time status, major, major category (grouped), high school, high school diploma type, high school GPA range, high school graduation year, and student's geographical area.
