FOUNDATION ACTIVITIES
The Foundation provides over $350,000 to the College annually through program services to students, faculty and staff, and programs. Support to students (approx. $280,000) is distributed through scholarships, grants, and awards. Nearly $100,000 will be provided for instructional equipment, library collection additions, professional development funds and summer fellowships for faculty research, and cultural enrichment programs for the community, as well as for new academic programs and the Alumni Association.
It is through the generosity of alumni, faculty, staff, local businesses, organizations and foundations that we are able to fund special programs that are not included in the College’s operating funds. These programs often help deserving students who would otherwise be unable to realize their education goals, and they provide resources that make the difference between a good program and an excellent program.
Private gifts make a tremendous difference to Cayuga Community College, and both restricted and unrestricted gifts are welcome.
