KOMANECKY, WILLIAM MEMORIAL SCIENCE AWARD
DESCRIPTION
Established by Professor Komanecky’s family as a tribute to him and his passion for the sciences. Professor Komanecky prevailed as the first Auburn Community College (ACC) graduate to join the school’s faculty. He continued his dedication to ACC / CCC for the remainder of his 42 year career in education. The Memorial Science Award is presented to a graduate who has earned a degree in the sciences or nursing, has a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA, and has been accepted into an accredited Bachelor of Science program.
