What is the application deadline?

What are the estimated expenses for International Admissions?

NOTE: The first semester’s tuition and fees are due after registering for classes, in accordance with the published semester payment deadline. Students may pay with cash, wire transfer, (Flywire – tuition payment process which allows students to pay from any country and any bank) or a valid Visa or MasterCard.

Is financial aid available for international students? Are scholarships available?

There is very little financial aid for foreign nationals to study in the US. Most grants, scholarships, and loans from public and private sources are restricted to US citizens. As a result, international students will find very little information about financial aid for international students. Cayuga is a small school and does not offer any Financial Aid or Scholarships for International Students at this time.

Is student housing available?

Cayuga Community College currently does not offer on-campus housing. Since Cayuga does not provide on-campus housing, most of our students live off-campus in private apartments or rental houses near the college.

Following my arrival in the United States, how do I travel to Cayuga Community College?

Once you have arrived at your port of entry you will want a connecting flight to Syracuse, Hancock International Airport. This is the closest Airport to Cayuga Community College’s Auburn and Fulton campuses. You will need to make travel arrangements as necessary from the Syracuse Airport.

How do I complete the I-94?

Where can I find additional information about studying in the States?

The International Student Guide to the United States of America is an education resource guide for students worldwide who are planning to study in the United States. Students can find American colleges and universities, plan an academic program in the United States, and learn about American culture.

CAN I GET A SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER (SSN) WHILE IN THE UNITED STATES?

Yes. Students who wish to apply for a Social Security Number (SSN) card may start the process online at https://www.ssa.gov/number-card. After you enter the required information, you must present your original documents to your local Social Security office within 45 days. When using the online application, a student may request an appointment to visit the local Social Security office to present their documents.

A first-time applicant for an SSN must show original, current, unexpired proof of age, identity, and lawful resident status. Can I continue my studies following graduation from Cayuga?

You absolutely can! Cayuga offers a variety of degrees designed to prepare students for transfer to Four-Year Institutions. In addition to strong transfer degree programs, we have counselors who work with our students and support the transfer process.
