Access Brightspace, Cayuga’s online learning network, and bookmark the site for future use.

Log in, and read the messages on the left side for news and general information. Your Brightspace username and password are identical to your Cayuga username and password.

Review your class schedule in myCayuga to verify start dates. If a course is not listed in Brightspace, you may have been de-registered for non-payment. Contact the Business Office for additional information.

Any changes to your schedule will be reflected in approximately 2 hours. Contact the Registrar’s Office at 315-294-8516 or registrar@cayuga-cc.edu if registered courses are not listed.

 

BROWSER COMPATIBILITY

The following desktop browsers are tested for the current version of Brightspace. It is strongly recommended that you use the current release of Firefox for Windows or Mac OS X.

 

BRIGHTSPACE FOR MOBILE DEVICES

If you have a smartphone or tablet, you can access Brightspace by using the Brightspace Pulse mobile application. See Access to Brightspace.

COURSE MATERIALS

Required course materials are listed in the course description, which can be accessed via myCayuga. Visit or call Cayuga’s Bookstore on either campus to purchase course materials. Purchases via telephone will be shipped or set aside for pick-up. You can also purchase course materials from other sources.

 

ATTENDANCE POLICY

Attendance in an online course is defined as an active post or submission within the course including discussions, written assignments, and tests. This standard will be used to determine all attendance issues, including but not limited to, never having attended reports, last date of attendance, and involuntary withdrawal from a course due to lack of attendance.
