COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will examine the relationship between mass media and society. It will provide students with an understanding of the ways mass media and society relate to each other historically and in relation to race, class, and gender in an increasingly technologically complex modern world. The concepts of media literacy will be an integral part of the course.
