COURSE DESCRIPTION
Introduces the use of foundational art techniques employed by artists, and preschool and elementary teachers. Focuses on basic design, color theory and elements of composition as well as the application of various drawing and painting techniques. Directs students’ interests and talents toward an individual form of self-expression. This course is not intended for Studio Art and Design majors. Studio Art and Design majors may not enroll in Art 103 if they have already completed a higher level course.
