COURSE DESCRIPTION
Prerequisite: high school chemistry and completion of or concurrent enrollment in MATH 104. Includes basic calculations, periodic trends of the elements, introduction to precipitation, acid-base and oxidation reduction reactions, ionic and covalent bonding, introduction to thermodynamics, and gas laws.
