COURSE DESCRIPTION

Prerequisite: ENGL 101. A survey of representative cosmogonies, major deities, and hero tales: GraecoRoman, Teutonic, Middle Eastern, North and South American, and Asiatic. The course considers the descriptive tales and the polytheistic concepts of at least one representative culture from each major area. NOTE: This course may be used as an English or Liberal Arts elective but cannot be taken in lieu of required literature courses.
