P-TECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School)
PTECH (Pathways in Technology Early College High School) students earn an Associate’s Degree while earning their high school diploma and work for a local business after graduation.
WHAT IS P-TECH?
A collaboration with Auburn Central School District, Cayuga, and area business partners, P-TECH allows interested students to earn a high school diploma and an Associate’s in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology at no cost. Students enter as 9th graders, participate in a summer bridge program at the College, take their first college credits as Cayuga Advantage students in 10th grade, and take courses on campus part-time in 11th and 12th grades. They continue as full-time college students after high school to complete an AAS.
Interested 8th graders should contact their middle school counselor for details about the program.
