STUDENT ACCOUNTS AND PASSWORDS

MYCAYUGA

PURPOSE
Your web-based gateway to resources at Cayuga Community College. MyCayuga offers self-service, online access to your academic and financial information. You can:

  • self-register for classes
  • view and accept your charges and/or financial aid
  • pay your tuition bill

You can also view:

  • your class schedule
  • your final grades
  • college announcements
  • course schedules

You can access your myCayuga student account 24/7 online at https://my.cayuga-cc.edu

HOW AND WHEN ISSUED
Your account will be created at the time of:

  • Your admission to Cayuga
  • Your initial registration
  • Cayuga’s receipt of your FASFA

You will receive an email to your personal account that will include your temporary account password and detailed instructions regarding access.

USERNAME/PASSWORD HELP
If you have forgotten your password subsequent to your initial login, you can always enter your Cayuga Username and then click the I FORGOT MY PASSWORD link on the myCayuga login page. This will prompt you to answer security questions that you had previously established. You will be able to proceed from there. If you have difficulties logging in, you can:

  • E-mail the Help Desk at helpdesk@cayuga-cc.edu
  • Call the Help Desk at 315-501-1993.
  • Visit the Help Desk, in person, on the Auburn campus in room M261.

E-MAIL

PURPOSE
College e-mail is our official means of communications (e.g., e-billing) and to support communication with your instructors. The College will consider students to be informed and in receipt of correspondence sent to their Cayuga e-mail account. Cayuga will direct some official communications to students’ Cayuga email accounts as appropriate. Students are responsible for reading their college e-mail on a regular basis and for recognizing that certain communications are time sensitive.

HOW AND WHEN ISSUED
Your Cayuga email account will be activated approximately four hours after registration. Your email address and password will be made available as part of your Cayuga Credentials which is accessible within your myCayuga account. Your email account is subject to continued enrollment in credit bearing classes at Cayuga Community College. Your email account will be terminated after five years of your last semester attended.

USERNAME/PASSWORD HELP
If you have difficulties in accessing your e-mail account after you have been activated, please visit the computer lab in room M261 on the Auburn Campus or the Information Technology Operations Center (ITOC) on the Fulton Campus. Alternatively call 315-501-1993 during normal business hours.

BRIGHTSPACE

PURPOSE
Cayuga’s online learning management system located at https://www.cayuga-cc.edu/brightspace

HOW AND WHEN ISSUED
Your Brightspace username and password is the same as your Cayuga username and password for login to computers or email.
